higher temps than before

Fitted a New thermaltake cooler to my CPU,My temps have risen by 20c when idle,ive took it off,cleaned paste off and re-applied it and re-seated,temps didnt change at all,just done the whole process again and temps are still idle @ 69.52.52.57.

what else can i do ?

ye sitting flat,i had a 2nd person to hold the cooler while i pushed the pins in.

ok,i was running at 3.6 using 1.57 V,dropped it down to 1.325 @ 3.0,idle temps are now 47.39,39,43,used prime @ 100% load and temps risen to 79,68,65,67

dont really want to lap them,i think the best option is to remove them and reseat 1 final time.
