Not interested in price, cores, cooling technique, just curious.

What's the highest clocking CPU? What's the fastest we can achieve with silicone?

You'll need LN2 to cool any chip at that clock. :p
 
Hard question tbh. No matter wether you buy AMD or Intel. Overclocking is a lottery. Pay your money take your chance. You cant compare cpu's from each vendor at stock in this situation.
