Just a very quick question.

Just wanted to check what was the highest socket 939 single core CPU as I'm in the process of helping a mate to upgrade his system to help it last a little bit longer.

Got a feeling it was the 4000+ but if someone could confirm this I'd be grateful.

Just looked up the specs on the 4000+, and most people seem to be saying that its the same as an FX-53?

My mate went for a 4000+ in the end as he got it at a good price, San Diego core. He's not really bothered about overclocking and Isn't a heavy gamer so hopefully this should make his system last another year at least :)
