Guys,

I have a feeling that the RAM in my system is it's weak spot.

My system is:

Asus P5W DH Deluxe
C2D E6600
2x1GB Corsair Value Select 4300
Seagate Barracuda 320gb
BFG 7900 GTX

I've clocked my E6600 to 2.7ghz and pushed the RAM to 600mhz from it's 533mhz stock.

Does anyone know what the Corsair Value Select 4300s top out at? What have you guys got out of them. I'd be happy with 667mhz.

Can anyone confirm they can get this?

Thanks

Hiya
I clocked my e6600 to 3.4 ghz using ram @1:1 a 29% overclock on the ram

cant remember what speed as i am now running ballistix(not noticed any increase is speed or stabilty though) but i think it was 768mhz but dont quote me

someone else will do the maths for me

messing around with it tonight, couldn't get it much past 600mhz. Windows wouldn't boot properly @ 640mhz.

might have to get some proper overclockers ram...

Ive got Kingston Value Ram DDR 800 2 x 1gb sticks. If i move the speed to say 410 the system wont boot, just get a long beep and have to reset the bios. Have tried upping the ram voltage slightly too...still no joy. Any ideas?

I finally figured out why if I push the ram beyond 400 it will crash. Its only ddr 667 (333) the box it came in had the wrong label on, Im waiting to get it replaced with the 800 it should have been :)

Therefore at the moment I have DDR 667 (333) running at DDR 800 (400) which is canny :)
