Okay, So I'm after some highly overclockable DDR2 800 Ram.

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-020-GS

I've always been a fan of G.Skill but I would like a second opinion, I am going to be getting the E2160 instead of a Q6600 at the moment, theres not much point when a lot of games and applications don't fully use the power, plus there will be native Quad cores soon anyway making the Q6600 a thing of the past. Enough reasoning why I do not want quad core. Eitherway I would like to Oc my E2160 as much as possible.

For cooling my 2160 will have a Zalman 9700 stapped to it.

So is there any other ram out there that performs better? Oh, and it can't be anymore expensive :p

Thanks

Miles

G.Skill HZ, Cellshock, TeamXtreme, Ballistix, Mushkin. Anyne of those should be good for at least 1000mhz. Look for modules that have Micron D9 IC's as these are proven to be excellent overclockers

My G.Skill RAM can go up to 1150MHz easily, havent tried pushing it further.

Also arnt Intel still doing 2x2 for their new Quads, thought it was AMD doing a 'native' Quad Core, probably wrong.

Why not get the OcUk 8500+ DDR2? That way you don't have to worry about the overhead limit so much as it will do at least 1066Mhz, plus its £10 cheaper :)

crucial ballistix pc5300 c3.. i have 2 sets, one does 1200mhz 5-4-4-12 @ 2.15v, the other doeas 1400mhz at 5-5-5-12 @ 2.2v and seeing as you can get them for less than 60 quid delivered, they are an absolute steal...

Am I really going to notice a difference between the crucial and the G.Skill =/?

Basically my question is, which will give the best timings/overclock ^_^
