This is priceless - old Prezza goes to a Tory MP website that has Google ads on it, sees an advert for Thai brides then tweets about it saying 'Tory MP advertising Thai brides' without realising the adverts are targeted banners based on previous browsing history. What an own goal! Sorry for the Mail link but you get the gist.

Two shags!

Actually he just repeated a link from another blog that was repeating a link from Twitter. There is no indication that Prescott ever visited the link and saw Thai brides being advertised. Grant Shapps just made an off the cuff comment about Prescott's browsing history and it has all ballooned. It's pretty much baseless.

That said, several people are reporting they visited the same forum with 'clean' browsing histories and saw Thai brides being advertised.

So, a total non-story, and a waste of brain cycles.

You really think he blindly forwards on links without checking them?

'Several people' - well I just tried it a few times in incognito mode and I don't get them. Google ads would not put up that kind of advert as a default I'm sure.

But, nice try John - it appears you've managed to convince some of the more naive of us.

Oh noes...

He's not even relevant to modern politics (seeing as everyone noticed he's an embarrassment) so have a LOL DAILY FAIL

This kind of inter personal advertising should be banned imo.

I'd rather see ads for something I don't want, can we go back to the old days.

Prescott was obviously stirring it posting a link he knew nothing about which backfired on him.

The man puts his foot in things as if he enjoys waltzing in dog doings.
