Hillsborough - Parking

Alright fellas,

Any Sheffield Weds fans on here? Where is it best and safe to park for travelling away fans on a weeknight match?

Directions would be handy.

Not sure about parking around the ground but you could always park city centre and get a taxi/tram to the ground.

Parking around Hillsborough isn't good. Plenty of paid parking but getting out again isn't easy. Just get there early and you'll be OK.

Last time I went we parked in a garage (where they fix cars not a house garage) directly across from the ground, for free as well

There's the leisure centre further down the road, but that's paid parking (£5) and you have to get there quite early. Other than that its either parking in the town centre and tram up to the ground or trying to find a side road to park on.
