Hints/Tips on build process.....

Just make sure everything is seated/inserted properly and that no cable are obstructing the CPU/GPU/Case fans.

Good luck, hopefully you don't get errors like I do everytime I build a PC :D.

Few pics I took on the phone.....

It started like this..... (I'd put the CPU and cooler and ram on the mobo the other day)

Cheers everyone for the help!

Its that stupid sodding box that opens asking for confirmation of your activity EVERYTIME you want to open something.

Of COURSE I want to open the damned thing, thats WHY I CLICKED ON IT!

It's the biggest pain in the arse and lasted about 3 mins before I turned it off....

I have to say I turn it off and just know what I want running, If I see anything suspicious in task manager then get rid of it there. UAC just becomes an annoyance.

Nice cable management considering you didn't have much to work with :). Have you not got a GPU? Or are you just going to use the Onboard Graphics and maybe add a dedicated GPU later?

Nice job anyway!

Cheers!, I try to keep it as tidy as possible... ;)

No GPU needed as I'll use the Z68 and 2500K capability for the IGPU - at least for now.

So.... Installed win 7 on a 200GB partition... All good... But now how do I get windows to see the other 2TB drive and the remainder of the 1Tb drive.... They're showing in device manager.... But not under computer...? Sorry for the noob question....

Haven't yet messed about with the bios.

Off the top of my head you need to go to your Disk Management. Just stick it into one of the search boxes or hunt around for it in your computer managament section of control panel.

Inside, you should see all your physical drives. Just select the ones you cannot see as actual drives in your My Computer and right click -> New Simple Volume

Pick a drive letter and hey presto, it should show up.

I may have gotten something wrong there, as i'm going from memory, but I think thats right.
