i have this psu in the cupboard, was it one of those to be avoided that burst into flames.. just putting an old pc together out of bits .. socket 775 quad core
That is a coincidence I was just thinking about this old pile of rubbish last night. Best thing about this psu was the storage box and inner tray that it came in. Still use it now.lol
When my Hiper blew up, quite literally, (bloody great bang, flames, black acrid smoke and a change of undies) it took a very good two week old DFI motherboard with it. Hiper were not interested at all. I ended up taking it outside and beating the **** out of it with a 14LB sledgehammer which my elderly neighbour must have thought that I had finally lost the plot altogether by the worried look on her face.
