Hiper USB Keyboard keeps turning off

I've had a Hiper USB keyboard for ages now (18 months or so) and I've never really had any problems with it before. However, I've just done a reinstall of XP (Pro SP3) and it's losing power / turning itself off fairly often. You're typing and then suddenly half way through a word, the NUM-LOCK light goes out and windows just prints the last key over and over, which is quite annoying. Pulling it out and sticking it in again will sometimes get it back working again, but even then it can take a minute or so to finally condescend to start working.

Basically, I'm pretty stumped. Short of buying a new keyboard, which would be the next step, does anyone have any bright ideas? Cheers!

No, I haven't. I don't really have access to another PC here that I could use for long enough to make sure that it wasn't going to do it anyway.

I would highly suspect the keyboard itself normally, but the fact you just installed windows again would suggest it may not be.

As Mr.Nick said, try loading any drivers you may have had for the keyboard.

Anyone who can test it for you?

There are no drivers with the keyboard - should have said in the OP. Will try and lean on someone to test it for me.

Cheers for the opinions :)
