He was the president of Nintendo during all the great console launches. RIP.

Always remember reading about him in the gaming mags years ago.

Also seemed like a genuine old school kind of president too. Gave his pension back to Nintendo and donated a lot of his fortune to cancer research. As said pretty much my childhood was made by him.

Knew pretty much nothing about the gentleman but he defined the entertainment during my teenage years and more.
