HIS 6950 broke?

I know you said not to mention drivers but...... I have a HIS 6950 also and i recently updated the drivers to version 11.8 and have noticed some glitches on GTA:episodes from liberty city when it is raining but i don't have them on older drivers. So, maybe your problem is that you are playing very old games, which AMD are not thinking about too much when making new drivers. Could be worth trying some old drivers. I don't own CS or WoW so i can't try them out on my card for you, sorry.

Edit: have you tried running a few benchmarks like heaven to see if you get these glitches?
