I'm puzzled!!!!

Just flashed my 7950 boost back to the original bios but the voltage is showing 1.169 instead of 1.25.

Any ideas why?

I reinstalled the drivers but no difference.

Uninstall drivers and overclocking apps (afterburner/trixxx) etc before you do the flash. Otherwise software can pick up the old voltage.

Just tried but no difference. What is strange is when I move the bios switch to the second position it's exactly the same voltage.

the voltage doesn't allways sit at 1.25 iirc, have you tried overclocking it a touch to see if it jumps up?

Tried but still stays at the same voltage.

I'm very confused.

what are you using to check the voltages?
can you try a different program?

and what are you using to ramp it up 100% usage? i'd try furmark or valley as they push the limits a bit more than some other programs.
