Also when can we expect some reviews to compare with sapphire and powercolour versions?

Gibbo said:HI there
HIS have had production issues, remember were getting the worlds first batch.
The 256MB varient will ship from Hong Kong end of this week, we expect delivery middle of next week to end.
The 512MB version ships from Hong Kong next week and due with ourselves early the following week.
They are worth the wait!![]()

Is it likely to come down in price? Cos It wouldn't matter much if it didn't, it does have a better cooler (hopefully won't rattle) than the sapphire 512mb and is clocked out the box a fair bit higher, tired of waiting anyway hehe!
my first ATI card, how exciting!

Thats what I am reading, the original HIS ICE-Q/1/2 series all used an ARCTIC Cooler, and we all know they make good uns, now it looks like HIS have tried to produce their own version of an ARCTIC cooler. Most of this ICE-Q 3 coolers seems to work well but a few have an undesired 'rattle' when running at low rpms (as the X1950Pro runs cool the fan tends to stay at low rpms so . . .).3t3P said:I'm confused cos originally didn't HIS use arctic coolers on their cards?
Then they invented their own version which is really similar?

I was using a 7800gs bliss, but had to return it due to the fact that it was rebooting my PC for no good reason, so now I'm back to using my old 6800.
So I'm looking for a nice fast AGP card, but one that doesn't sound like a jumbo jet taking off.
Is this HIS quite, or are there quieter fast AGP cards out there?
SkeeterPSA said:£5 more? You mean £5 less?
As on ocuk site yesterday i saw the 256mb HIS for £144 ish and the Sapphire 512mb for £155 ish. You dont sell 256mb versions of sapphire agp so where did you get this £5 more for HIS?
EDIT - erm WTF, gibbo why did you increase the price man? It was £144 day or two ago from £155 to £144 ish, i mean the £155 was cheaper than £158 your now selling them at. Things like this puts me off buying if your messing potential customers for these about like this changing prices a lot in just a few days.
link for proof that i mentioned it was cheaper before you posted and changed price again.

Edit 2 - If the price of the 512mb version goes up , when it gets in stock, then forget it.
