his hd 7850 iceQ cabling query

Hi all, I have got my His HD 7850 on order but my monitor doesnt support Hdmi or dvi D.

It is a samsung monitor with DVI and Analogue inputs. Can someone please link me a cable that will connect the two together.

I have looked but I am unsure which is correct.

Does it not come with a dvi to vga converter block?

Yea my monitor only supports d-sub/vga port and my 5770 came with a dvi > sub adapter as it has 2 dvi ports on it...

you can pick up an adapter for a few quid on OcUK,

You'll be able to connect the graphics card to the DVI on the monitor.

The connector on the card is dual link DVI-I (basically high bandwidth DVI-D plus analogue).

Your monitor may not specifically state it but it will be DVI-D if it has a DVI connection.

If you have a DVI cable it'll work fine.

If you haven't one of these will do the job: OcUK Value 2m DVI Male - Male Monitor Cable

Alternatively the card will likely come with a DVI to VGA adapter and you can connect using a VGA cable.
