Is this the same as GX-054-HT on page - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/X1800_Series.html ??

If it is its seems as though it's quite a bargain if it can be upgraded to an XL ?

Mine has 0x27E4 in ATITOOL, so perhaps not.

its not a guarantee though. not all the HIS cards will unlock.

According to the review HIS cards are almost guaranteed but other manufacturers could be patchy.

I checked my card out and the label has X1800XL on it, but the XL has a sticker over it, as it says in one of the reviews. My card now as 16 pipes and is showing 0x3FE4 instead.
