HIS X1950Pro problems

Had the card for 7 months or so and it's been great. However, I've recently been getting VPU recovery errors. The only 2 games this has happened in are the HL2 mod Insurgency and Bioshock. Turning off HDR in Insurgency seems to make the game last a lot longer without VPU recovery coming up. However the real problem is with the Bioshock demo. The first time it crashed the game froze for 10 seconds and then VPU recoverer popped up. I tried again with the newest ATI drivers and kept CCC open to monitor temps. This time it once again froze after about 5 mins, with the temperature hitting 78C. But this time the whole computer just reset. Bioshock is running at 1440x900 with most options set to max.
I'm awaiting on a can of compressed air because the card is a bit dusty. However that still seems like a fairly low temperature to start crashing at. My old 6800Gt wouldn't lock up until it was over 100C. I'm guessing it's probably the dust still but is there anything else is could be? I need to play Bioshock properly :o Suggestions/guidance are appreciated.
Thanks.

EDIT: Full PC specs are as follows:

Geil PC6400 Stock

Well it crashed before at a high temperature and I had CCC open on my second monitor displaying the temp. I've just tried again with the hotfix ATI drivers and once again it crashed at 77.5C according to rivatuner and CCC. This time the image and computer just froze but the game audio continued. No VPU recovery or sudden reboot. Had to manually reset the machine. I really would have thought the card would take higher temperatures . I'm a bit miffed. I bought this card because it had a better cooler and wanted to avoid problems i had with my last card which overheated

And while I am here, mind seeing if these stats are okay, I really don't understand them tbh :P

Well after giving the graphics card a good clean with some compressed air, it's perfect. Didn't hit above 60C at full load with Bioshock :D

Thats good to hear, the x1950 does seem to run really cool but I didnt realise it was a requirement still mine seems quite tolerant at stock clocks

The voltages you list there look normal enough, the vcore is pretty low. It depends how accurate ds3 is in its sensor

I think my vcore is about 1.35 normally, Ive raised it (a lot) to overclock

Ive no idea why 3.3v is showing 0  But it works fine, its a p5n-e, e6400 & 450w aerocool psu

Hehe, I'm not that fussed as long as it works :p. I don't overclock so I'm not too bothered really. I thought it may help in diagnosing the graphics card problems, but that's all resolved :D

Yea sorry I forgot this thread was about the His card, you can see the VRM heatsink on that and I bet it has a temp sensor.
I think the only thing lacking in the pro reference design compared to xt, etc is adjustable volts
I have the jetway
