Hisense 2018 TV's... 120Hz?

I reckon if these had HDMI 2.1 they'd be making a much bigger deal out of it - so more likely marketing nonsense - same as we've had with TV's for years.

[EDIT] I'd be pleasantly surprised if they did support it natively though!

cant remember who it is but if they are like the other 120hz panels being released this year without hdmi 2.1, then they'll be real 120hz but it'll only work for the internal apps. Which is pointless lol

Yeah, I suspected that might be the case, but for the other manufacturers that are doing this they have made a point of saying in the press release that it's for internal apps only. But that may just be an unintentional omission by Hisense.

Unlikely to happen. Processing a 120hz 4k signal requires far more expensive components. I wouldn't be surprised if the Asus PG27UQ has been delayed so many times due to overheating issues.

My current 4K LG 43" tv can run at 1080p 120hz but not at 4K 120hz obviously and i don't think these Hisense will be able to do do 4K 120hz its probably some motion interpolation gimmick.

Maybe they will prove us wrong :p
