Hi guys,

I recently purchased a Hisense A6200 50" and have what appears to be some backlight bleed and DSE - it is especially noticeable when gaming on lighter areas such as sky, and during fast movement. Also the corners of the screen are noticeably darker.

I have been offered a repair by Hisense but am wondering whether this would be worth doing? Is this is an acceptable level of bleed and could a repair even fix it?

Concerned about handing over my TV to an unknown repair company as haven't had great experiences in the past.

Thanks!

dosent look to bad from pics, but if it annoys you in actual general use(not just when checking for flaws), you might regret it if you dont let the try and improve it

Id note tho dark corners are pretty common if this is direct lit screen rather than edge led's

Cost vs performance is very good on Hisense TV's, my brother has a 4K model unsure of the model but overall for what he paid it's a good panel.

as posted above let them have a crack at reducing it (if they can) however they will never eliminate it.

We have one good good Hisense from a few years ago (65M5500) and sent back a 6800 as it just became a horrible cloudy and crashing mess.

M5500 does well, but now I'd go for a Samsung with the decent Tizen Smart system, or chance a Sony 9005 and just use a Fire 4k stick for the Smart.
