Looking to buy an American fridge freezer tomorrow, we like the LG at around £850 but wondering if it's worth the extra £200+ over the Hisense given the LG still seems slightly flawed judging by customer reviews.
I'm just skeptical of the Hisense... Being a brand whore? Or get what you pay for?

Does anyone have any first hand experience of Hisense?

Thanks, Haier do seem to spec out quite well tbf.
I imagine there are only a couple of manufacturers with various levels of rebranding along there way. Who knows.
We ended up buying a Hisense last night. Fingers crossed!

We purchased a Hisense American style fridge/freezer this time last year. It's been faultless so, although granted we're only 12 months in. It was a few hundred quid less than some of the others at the time as you mention.

Had a hisense fridge for a couple of years. Not the American style but it's been great so far. Also a Haier washing machine early this year. Replacing an LG one that only lasted just over 2 years. They both look smart and the price makes them well worth considering.

Its best to check the quality of the shelf plastics, thats the quality differentiator imo. Weve just replaced a Sharp after 18 years, with a Bosch, i hope to get 10 plus years at the very least

We bought an American style Hisense earlier in the year.

Far too early to tell about reliability but it's a sturdy piece of kit and everything inside looks plenty durable enough.

The exact same model with a slight cosmetic change was being sold in Currys under their Kenwood brand name for quite a bit more. If you research Hisense they do make products for others.

if you want to go cheap go with john lewis they still offer really good warranty on stuff and price match. you usually get an additional year or 4 depending on the item
