whats the difference between the 2 versions of this. I see some on a website at £18 or £30, be it the red or black box. Does it matter which one I get (PS3)

The £30 (the black box) is the Professional Edition. It includes

  • Premium hardcover art book with a foreword from Game Director Tore Blystad

  • Exclusive behind-the-scenes "making of" video

  • Packaged in a clamshell box box that looks as sharp as Agent 47 does in his suit

  • Advanced access to a range of in-game Agency Weapons, giving the Original Assassin a deadly edge over his enemies from the outset. Picked this up today. Will be having a go later tonight on it.

Is it, pick up and play as such (PS3) or do you choose what you want to do etc, is there a correct way of getting into the game.

Managed to find it pre-owned for £17.

Then I saw it in Tesco, for £20, Black-Op's was also down to £20. Maybe I shall pick that up too..........I digress.


PS: where is this Sniper Challenge I hear off? I have the Hitman Absolution (in the red box) is it DLC. or can i not have it?

Sniper challenge was a pre order offer minigame, you can only get that with the Hitman HD trilogy now. HA is the same as all the Hitman games, you can run and gun or plan and execute. there is always a lot of ways to complete a level.
 
This is my first SP game in such a very long time having barely gamed in the last 2 years, with my son approaching school I thought it was time to get back into console gaming.

The 'Nun' level is making me want to put the controller into orbit! :D

Playing on hard, like the multiple options and replay value in this game but hate what they have done to disguises leaving you far less room to walk around explore and plan what you should do. A couple of times I have had to look at guides to see where I should be going.

Blood money is in my top 5 fav games this gen so far this is no where near as good. I think I'm just going to shoot up the nun level ;)

What did you like about it, for me all the qualities of Blood Money have been drained away. Very few actual interesting executions, the disguise system is utterly broken and the map is gone sadly.

The underground mine I cba with so played it COD style and shot every one on the map :D I'd love them to go back to a blood money style where you can walk around the maps monitor movement and come up with the best way to kill, rather than moving area to area and winging it on the way.

3 or 4 levels to go on hard then I will go back and try other tactics on easier skill levels.
