It really irks me badly that they put so much energy into ever diminishing lighting effects, making a very gpu intensive game..... with absolutely crap textures, and flat feeling enviroments.

Ingame Steroscopic 3D with CrossFire(AF:trilinear) is very poor though:

Scaling@35% is pathetic in 3D

With my 7850 @ 1150/1400 If i max everything but leave AA on FFXA at 1920x1080 I get 54 fps average.

If I whack the MSAA upto 8x I get 24fps.

Don't know yet Matt, I waited for it to unlock last night, when it did and noticed there was a BM, then typically, I played about with the BM instead of actually playing the game. :eek:

I did start it up and killed a few guys, but initial impressions are that visually at least it's looking very nice indeed.

right im heading home now and got ir free steam code from OCUK so i will download and latest nvidai drivers and will run some tests on my 670 and 8320pd

Everything maxed on my 680 and i'm averaging 30fps 1080p. Will update to the new Nvidia drivers which say better compatibility with the game so see if that boosts it. I agree on the texture front though, everything looks flat and bland.

Just ran the bench at Ultra settings and got:

Min 16.371
Avg 26.98
Max 35.84

GPU 1 usage 52% max GPU 2 usage 35% max...Shocking

Was that with your GPU's OC clocks?

rerun with a small overclock of +149 on the GPU and +468 on the mem resulted in:

Installed the 310.61 and big improvement. Also a note about the CPU at stock...Work it out for yourselves

CPU at 4.6Ghz

Min 29.304
Avg 49.547
Max 120.338 (big spike at the end with 2 runs)

Goes to show the CPU makes a difference

Terrible scaling, getting 40% on both cards.

I'm having trouble to run this game on my pc in ultra! I have to have it at medium to low at 5760x1080 res

My spec is
2500k 4.8ghz
2 x gtx 580 3gb @ stock
8gb ram

How is it running on your system at 5760 x 1080 res. Please let me know

My tests were at 5760*1080. I forgot to say that. Very poor scaling from your setup Tonester. As an AMD game, I thought you would have smashed me up propers :confused:
