Thinking about getting this now it's nice and cheap.

What's it like? I remember playing the first one back in the days and I loved it.

Edit: Forgot to say it's the 360 version

Great fun. Very atmospheric. Some of the later missions are extremely hard.

Great game, Very diverse. Requires a fair bit of patience I found.

I still need to do all the silent assassins to wrap up the 1000 points. May give it a go soon.

Absolutely brilliant, this is coming from someone who wasn't a fan of the originals.

There are lots of interesting variations on how to kill each target, it's been very well thought out. Once you play a level a couple of times over, even the hardest become simple to get the Silent Assassin on, you get a real sense of achievement, like a proper silent assassin :D

Oooh the bit that really got me was when the game could predict you were about to do something evil (sneaking behind someone with the piano wire, positioning to push somone off a cliff etc.) and the music changes to a mournful violin piece in anticipation.

Probably one of my all time favourite games.

Your sig is too big, may I suggest some light reading?

Back on topic, I played the demo ages ago, loved it but kept forgetting to buy it, however, now I've seen this, and the fact that the 360 is my gaming fun now, I might go get it. :)

Edit: Oh ****! Just seen the price on a certain four letter competitor, bargain!

I agree, although I have not yet played it on the 360 it is a wonderful game, with great atmosphere and more replayability than most 1 player games on the market

I'd never played a Hitman game again and was quite blown away.

My 1000/1000 achievement points is testament to how much I got into it. Recommended.

This is on my shelf waiting to be opened, I got it in a 2 for 1 offer with TDU.
I very nearly started it up yesterday but decided to finish condemned first before playing any new games.

one of the most frustrating games i've played but i felt big satisfaction when i finished it. it really requires you to think and plan your route ahead. you got to take it really slowly because the game will punish you for silly mistake like walking to fast

Just finished it myself last week on all 4 difficulties, I would highly recommend it. I got it from the same place 2 months ago for the same price :) Its great fun trying to get silent assasin on professional difficulty. It took me a while but I eventually was able to get it on every level using only "accidents" :)

My mate borrowed mine and completed it, he absolutely loved it and thought it was the best of the series. He preferred it over Splinter Cell: Double Agent too.

From what I played it's excellent with some fabulous environmental design that is very different between levels.
