I have a hive dual receiver,
My current set-up is
Drayton LP241 controller
Honeywell T40 thermostat
and a lifestyle wiring centre (which has loads of wires going to & from)
There is a back boiler and a heating pump.

It is a rented property so i don't really want to rip everything out as i'd have to put it all back together again.

Does anyone know how to wire everything up pls?

The Hive directly replaces the Lp241. You can get the wiring diagram of the 241 from drayton. The harness remains untouched.

oh that seems easy then thank you, apart from there's no CH off and theres a loop that goes to the stat thats not in the normal wiring which i think is live?

What isn't used don't connect. Depending on what you have there it is highly possible that CE OFF is not being used so you just leave it disconnected on the Hive.

Room thermostats often have more than just the switched wires but the hive is only interested in the switched ones.

i'm very handy doing most stuff and good at sorting problems also,
swapping the LP241 sounds very easy, there is a loop in the bottom which isn't on any terminal, which goes to terminal 3 on the stat, Honeywell T40.
reading through that other thread you posted i'd say i need to connect 3 & 5 together in the stat to bypass it, or it will throw up errors

This is the wiring of the stat

and this is the wiring on the controller

(sorry i don't know how to add images)
right i have tried to just replace the controller wiring as it's the same as the hive,
and the water worked fine but the heating didn't......
pin 4 on the controller goes to pin 1 on the stat
and the link in the chock block controller goes to pin 3 on the stat
so i'm not sure if i have to do anything with the stat?
thanks for your help so far
