Hive Heating and Smart TRV question

Hi all,

I am hoping someone can confirm if how I hope my new heating set up to work is indeed correct or if it is how i fear not going to do what i want.

Set Up
2 x hive mini thermostat's (1 downstairs and 1 upstairs)
Most radiators have normal (dumb) TRVs.
1 Hive smart TRV connected to master bedroom radiator which is upstairs.

Downstairs thermostat set to 19c [In lounge]
Upstairs thermostat set to 20c [In my children's bedroom]
Master Bedroom Smart TRV set to 16c

Thermostats are set to ON (no schedule)

Situation/Question 1 (I'm fairly confident this works as i expect but to be certain):
When the master bedroom hits 16c it should shut off heat to that radiator and thus room, however the rest of the upstairs should continue to heat until the thermostat (hits 20c).

Situation/Question 2 (This is (although less frequent) one that I think doesn't work as I expected):
Master bedroom has not hit its target temperature however upstairs thermostat has hit 20c target. Will the master bedroom radiator continue to receive heat or because the "upstairs" thermostat has met its target which the Master Bedroom is part of its shutdown until the thermostat calls for heat again? In another way if it helps, can the Master Bedroom TRV override the thermostat and continue to call for heat in that room.

I really hope you can help clarify this for me please.

If there is a way to overcome any failings in my expectations as well please do let me know - such as buying more TRVs or whatever.

Thanks
Dan

In another way if it helps, can the Master Bedroom TRV override the thermostat and continue to call for heat in that room. - It will only do this if heating on demand is turned on in the app for that thermostat. It will however keep on heating the rest of the upstairs until the boost temp (Usually 25 degrees) is achieved.

Exactly as above. For Q2 your stat will report it's being overridden by a smart trv.
