Hive thermostat installation

I received Hive as a gift, without the BG installation, the installation instructions in the manual aren't detailed enough for me to understand how to replace my current thermostat with the Hive controller. Hive themselves were no help either as they just sent me a digital copy of the manual as their answer.

This is how my current one is wired.

There's only a neutral and live wire (there's an earth but that's been cut off). I've tracked this cable back to the boiler (Worcester 24i Junior). I don't think there's any direct power cables as the thermostat has batteries.

I'm wondering can I still install the Hive controller, or do I need to run more cables (i.e. arrange for BG to install)?

You don't have enough wires as it stands. Your picture shows the back plate from an old Honeywell battery operated thermostat with volt free switching.
The two wires can remain as the switching wires, but you need 240ac to power the hive.

Thanks for the help. I'll take another look and see if there's anything I can do, but as i'm no electrician I may have to call someone out
