Ok so I’ve finally got around to making a build log for the forum.
Sorry if the images are too big. Maybe I should add a 56k warning lol.
I’ve never done this before so I’m not sure if this is exactly how it should be done but whatever.

First of all, here are all the items I ordered (stacked nicely for you all the see :P)

Here is the case before I opened it up.

And here it is opened up. It does have quite a lot of room but once everything is in there it’s a tight squeeze.

The PSU ready to be fitted. This PSU is much more complex than the last one I had and also has A LOT more cables.

PSU installed. Really easy to install and the rubber surrounds really give it a secure, tight fit.

Below are the motherboard and CPU ready to be fitted. It seemed a shame to waste the heatsink that came with it but never mind.

Here is the processor installed. It seemed to be a very tight fit and quite hard to get the leaver to go down but it did eventually.

Here is my workspace :P. Not ideal I know but it’s the best large surface I had.

Heatsink installed. This was properly the most difficult part as it came with a lot of different attachments and was awkward to fit with the bit that goes over the CPU having off it.

The first graphic card installed. These are really easy to fit but once they are side by side it’s a real squeeze.

Here are both of the graphic cards installed. As you can see the PCI slot is completely covered so there is no room for the sound card. Also, there is no chance of getting another card in the bottom PCI-E slot.

Looking pretty messy so far. Cables were tidied up at the end using small cable ties and strategic cable bending.

Here is the CD drive and fan controller installed. This case is much easier for installing cd drives than my last one.

Now it looks even messier! I haven’t got a picture of them tidied but I assure you I didn’t leave them like this!

And that’s it. Up and Running.

Here is my desktop setup with the new monitors.

As for overclocking, here is was I have done so far. I haven’t done much because I need to do more research and reading.

That’s it! Overall it was really interesting researching and building the system. I would also like to thank everyone on this forum especially Mr. May and Stulid.

Thanks,

Wow I knew the pictures would be big but I thought they would be resized

Any ideas how to get them smaller without resizing them all myself?

Why have you got 2 pieces of ram in different colour slots to the third piece?

They should all either be in the white slots or the blue slots as it's triple channel

Also what are your temps like with 2 470's in such a small case?

edit: pretty nice build btw :P

I did not know this  :/

The metal on the back of the case does get really hot actually

This is my best effort of tidying the cables up. The power cables from the graphic cards are a real pain to shape and keep together.

Ah good idea I'll try that, thanks.

Looking at it now that is a pretty big job. It would mean removing everything including the motherboard to get behind it to feed the cables. I think I'll just leave it as it is. The cables are not touching anything so I see no reason to move them other than to make it look less cluttered.
