Hiyahhh!!

Im a new user here, have kicked about a wee bit and read quite a few things over the months, but just now finally got registered Woooo!

Couldnt find anywhere to say hello, so thought i would do it in this general hardware section whilst asking a few wee things! Hi!

My questions are nothing too important, only looking for wee suggestions etc

I currently have...

AMD Athlon x2 3800+ 939 Toledo (nice find on ebay, £50) o/c to 2.7Ghz
Artic Cooling Silencer 64 (seems to do the job...)
A8N-SLi Deluxe (Only got this as i used to have a SLi setup)
1GB OCZ PC3700 (200 Mhz upto 232Mhz) o/c to 225.1 (CPU/12)
HIS X1950 Pro SQ3 Silent Turbo 256MB (was 2 6600GT's, untill yesterday)
Sony DRU-700A CD/DVD-RW (Had for years, love it)
80GB Western Digital SATA (For os etc)
300GB Maxtor SATA (For other rubbish, music etc)
Wee Floppy drive lol (must have!)
Samsung Syncmaster 957DF (Bought years ago, Fantastic flat CRT)
Soundblaster Audigy 2ZS (and some ancient Cambridge Soundworks speakers)
Logitech Wireless Keyboard and Mouse (goes through batteries big time!)
Hiper 580W PSU (from reading this site this is bad?! Reviews i saw were ok?)
Oh and a Belkin wireless PCI card for my Orange Broadband lol

The reasn i told you all of that is purely i want wee suggestions What can i do for a better wee system?!

I dont have a great deal of money, so must be wee things! Looking for suggestions to purchase and wee system performance ideas

Also love buying something new, then selling the old bit for just under the same price... lol!

So anything you lot can say would be awesome.... i hope to be kicking about here from now on

If you want to keep your current rig the only suggestion I can make like you said would be more RAM.

Thanks for that... have thought about it a wee bit, i know i can get cheap stuff... but dont know how well it will fair to my overclocking...?

DDR ram seems to be really expensive the now too... DDR2 is cheaper

Yeah quite hard to get good quality DDR RAM these days, the whole industry has moved to DDR2 so there is little demand for DDR at the moment.

Yeah quite hard to get good quality DDR RAM these days, the whole industry has moved to DDR2 so there is little demand for DDR at the moment.

rubbish.... cant even consider new mobo cant i? for me would mean am2, thus needin a new processor?
