hi all im fixing a computer for my friend. can you take a look at the hjt log please. also my friend has multiple users on his computer. will i have to do a seperate log for each? thanks

You can copy and paste that into http://hijackthis.de/en. That analyses it for you and reports any dodgy entries. You can then select that entry in HijackThis and get it to fix it for you.

In this case only the "R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://as.starware.com/dp/search?pr...version=g_4.4.2" appears to be dodgy.

As for multiple users, I doubt it. These should all run whatever user is logged on. By all means run HijackThis on another username and compare the two reports for similarities and differences. They should be the same.
