HL2: EP2 (Possible Spoiler) This Right?

Hi all, just got to a bit where I have to tilt a bridge, and drive the car back to the start, then go and get Alex and the Vortigon... However they just emote at me, no talking, is this correct? Seems a bit weird that they stand there for a couple of mins emoting before the Vort waves and I head off down a tunnel...

Nope, you should be able to hear them talking to ya there before you head off (just before the vort waves bye there's dialogue)

There is a bug with dialog not working, usually fixed by changing your language to something else (Russian/French etc) then back to English. You will need to re-download a majority of the files but it should resolve the problem.

Thanks, that has given me 5 hours downloaded at 60kbps however... O_o

So Aprox 1.1GB Of data! I have even reinstalled the game with no luck, and this will eat into my 12gb download limit considerably

Just stick subtitles on for now?

My Audigy2 is crap on Vista with voices on HL2, so I've stuck subtitles on...its actually amazing how much extra 'talking' to get to hear (well, read) with the subtitles thats barely audible in the distance....

...or it could just be my crappy drivers

Still, might be better than a big download.
