Anyone got a single core cpu and tried HL2:Episode 2?

I am looking to buy The Orange Box for xmas and was just wondering if anyone has any first hand performance input from a single core processor.

Sys specs are in my signature below.

Cheers guys. :)

hl2 used to run great even on my old ancient athlon so id say it will be fine

only really multiplayer where the cpu gets tortured in source in my experiences

Cool. Thats good news. Look forward to playing Episode 2 then. There was talk when episode 2 was in development that one really needed a core2 processor for you to run Episode 2 smoothly. But acording to you guys it looks like I will be just fine. I can't wait as I just ordered it today. :D

How about COD 4? Would I be able to run that game alright, at least on high, obviously not ultra high.
Once I get home I will d/l the demo and give it a whirl.

Cheers for the input and experiences guys. Much appreciated.

Just found this bit of info out on a episode 2 forum on another site. Looks like I will be just fine..:D
