So I've finally assembled myself a gaming computer 2 months ago. I'm fairly chuffed and can play just about everything I throw at it, every setting I want, except obvious AA in some cases.

GTX 560 Ti
Phenom II X4 965
G.Skill RipJaws 4GB DDR3 RAM

Now, I know there's new motherboards coming out aswell as the 'Zambezi' processors coming out. I don't have too many games which is the primary reason the PC was built for, I dont know why but I keep wanting more performance even though everything runs smooth lol.

So, if you were in my position, would you save up for new hardware or buy what the PC was built for (read: games)

Thanks

Yeah was thinking of where I should put this thread. Oh well ;)

But yeah, I was hoping I'll get through next 2 years or so excellent, but with new GPUs coming out and processors it's very tempting.

I'm in the same position, mate. I bought an X2 555, a cheap board and a heavily discounted 5830 a couple of weeks ago. My plan was to give the CPU and board to my girlfriend when Zambezi and its 990FX boards come out, but given how well my current setup handles mostly everything, I'm not so sure anymore. Will probably do it anyway as my girlfriend needs an upgrade, but yeah. :)
