Have recently set up to join you guys for folding (friday i believe) and have a couple of questions.

The WU is still running at the moment. Are the points given at the end of the WU? Also, it seems as if the user name i am using has been used in the past. WHat does this mean for my stats? Should i use a new name? Also, i don't appear in the team list at the moment, do i only appear after a WU is completed?

assuming you selected team number 10, you will appear in ocuk team stats once the 1st WU has finished, points are always given once the wU has finished, although you need to wait ~3 hours for stats to update

am crunching under the username Zymurgy. There already seem to be 2 others with that user name though? I did set up as per the sticky

neither drunkenfool or drunken_fool is taken in team 10 stats, although drunkenfool is taken for other teams (but this does not matter if you are folding for ocuk)

As long as the name you have chosen hasn't been used in team 10 before, you'll be ok. I think there are 4 Bigstan's Folding but all for different teams.

ignore that llast post, Zymurgy is not taken for team10, both people with that name fold for different teams and that wont affect you

Yes if username was liked to team 10 no if not.
just checked stanford - no drunken anythings in team 10 (stan ) so I'm guessing that your id is under a different name.

If answer to above was yes - well then yes

well hopefully in about a day i should appear in the stats

Although i am now finding the same thing happening as i did when i crunched Seti for OCUK - the need to buy a new CPU

boxed as new Asus P5W DH Deluxe WiFi - got it off MM at half list price

Edit: Don't usually do cutting edge tech (so the 680i is way out of the question and one card is plenty thankyou very much ) but with crimbo coming the cpu will not eat into my expences and the board when I've sold my current Asus will be less expensive that a sunday lunch.
