I don't think sand & cement can handle the "delicate" nature of the power output of Dave.

This is after a 10 second run .....

Think i'm going to be recementing it and drilling in a few lengths of threadbar. Gah, nearly there :)

Need to consider sorting the exhaust too ...

Yup, time to remix and reattach the top blocks. Trolley jack up the kit, hack off the old stuff and rework it. Got an 18" 10mm bit here so i'll drill down through, fill the holes with cement and slap some threadbar into the holes to straighten things up. I used some resin stuff in the past to make a secure fixing into a wall but i don't know where i put it :(

whats it powering?

Nothing yet, but it's going to be supply hot water for a rudimentary central heating system, and electricity to cover the bulk of the flats power requirements.

erm plasticiser and more actual cement from the look of that :p (damping the bricks can sometimes help too). Or use engineering bricks and rebar.

It did get the "hammer and boot" test to check everything was secure, think i need a bigger hammer!
