Other one is my mates... decided to get a matching pair to make it fair (/me hides 4.6 engine upgrade)
There the limited edition ones .. 3 speed gearboxes spider diffs tuned pipe etc etc .
Should hopefully get them run in this weekend .

Should be good with the 4.6 and the 3 speed! Im a Revo man myself though ;)

Just to let you know Dark_Shadow on OcUK also has a Sav 25 Ltd Ed.

We were going to get Revos but slow parts put me off ... Next day for HPI and 1-2 weeks for Traxxas .

Out of interest why did you for got the RTR's ? The fun's in building them.. just so when you break it you know how to fix it :P

I got the Rtr's cause my mate hates building them :P Also the only one avaiable is the 4.6 SS which costs more and has no radio or any of the funky bits the special edition has .
I could have robbed some radio gear from another car but it was just easier to get the rtr's

Excellent choice :D i have the later model standard Savage 25 (same as original but with better diffs etc), ive pimped it with lots of carbon fibre, tuned pipe, air filter etc.

Thinking of getting the 3 speed gearbox next!!

You will love the savage , Total carnage .

I have a savage 25 and a MT2 both 4 wheel drive madness .

Word to the wise thogh make sure you have a failsafe fitted befor you run your car , I have seen no end of runaway cars SMASHED to bits .

Allso don't run it too hard for at least 3 or 4 tanks after run in .

Here is one of the best UK RC forums on the net , Its a great place for help and tips .

Good luck and have fun .

First thing i fitted when i got home was a failsafe and 5 cell hump pack :)
Got 1/2 a tank through it but its just to dam noisy leaving it on the stand out in the garden .

Will try and get the two static runs done tomorrow .

Wise move ,Allso the humppack will give you much better turning responce time ;)

Try and get it to idle as low down in the revs as you can , That will give you less noise

Hump pack is 6.4v so more power .. Most people use 4x aa nimh which = 4.8v
I will change to a high torque metal geared servo eventually but will try the original first .

If you are using loose cells then they are 1.5v per cell so thats 6v. Then a 5 cell hump pack is also 6v due to cells being 1.2v.

Non rechargable = 1.5 v
Nimh = 1.2 v
I think most people use recharables in there cars as its not cost effective to use duracells all the time ...so the hump pack will bring you back to the performace you would get from normal batteries compared to nimh .

Persil

I use duracells :D will have to start using my hump pack anyways!! anyone recomend a charger?

Where are you bashing this percil? thought about going down to MaxBashing?
