hmm what make of printer would you say is the best for compatible cartridges

ive tried the cannon ip5200 compatible cartridges and the loss of quality in colour is extreme. I was wondering if anyone knew of any decent photo qaulity compatibles for any printer make/model.

I think at the end of the day the printers were designed in mind to be used with their own cartridges and not compatibles. Compatibles as well tend to vary in quality.

I'd rather than look for a printer that has a good reputation for being ok with compatibles, look for another company's compatibles that are supposed to be good with any printer (hopefully including yours).

I'd stick with Canon and just buy genuine. Their cartridge prices vs copy volume seem very good compared to epson/lexmark equivalents.

I love my i965.
