Hmmm, unsure what to do!

Hang on... how much extra memory do you get from Turbocache?

If it's 512MB+ then you might find that at higher resolutions... :p :D

Seriously mate, enjoy the card, anyone who's put up with a card like that deserves it. :)

Tell me about it :( I went a bit crazy a week ago, and decided to overclock it... I went so high on the core that I was able to actually play CS Source at a high FPS... problem is the water went pinK in Aztec... lol

It is hard to believe that a card can be so bad that 10FPS a second happens when a smoke grenade is thrown. Yet runs 80FPS until then. It must have the shading power of a Voodoo 1 (come to think of it, if it has that amount of power, it is doing well). (This is in CS 1.6 as well!).

It is great for HD content and stuff though, but I think the VGA output is pretty bad. On my dual displays the VGA output to my 20" philips is so bad I dont use it lol.

Hopefully the gods of upgrading will be smiling on me, and I will be zipping around in Oblivion and Quake 4 by the weekend :)

So, what is the best service ever?

OCUK! I called a helpful fellow at around 12:30, and he took my details, and dispatched my 8800 GTS card by 3PM! so hopefully tommorw I will be popping in my new shiny 8800 GTS card in my conroe rig :D :D

BTW, a bit of a question. I have a 6200 at the moment, I assume I am ok to just uninstall it, via hardware control panel, then put in the new card, because I am going NV to NV, I dont really need to run Driver cleaner?

I was told you don't even have to do that much, something to do with nVidia's unified drivers? Hopefully someone can confirm that.

I (around a week ago maybe) downloaded the 97.92's from Nvidia, so I guess it is best to use them rather than the ones I get on the CD with the card.

I am using Windows XP SP2 BTW :)

uninstall your drivers for 6200 and then reboot use driver clean if you want then install your new card and then drivers

I guessed I didn't really "require" driver cleaner since I am not swapping to ATI or anything.

I guess I will probablly have to reinstall Riva Tuner to :)

I wonder what I will get in 3d Mark 2001 ;) I am getting just over 11K on a heavily overclocked 6200 TurboCache ;)

using driver cleaner takes like 10 secs and its a good idea because it deletes all nvidia files which remain after uninstall.

forget 3dmark01 lol do 06, wonder when they will release 07

No way, 2001 is my arch enemy at the moment! my old X800XT used to destroy it, it is not right that I have to overclock a card to make it break 11K when it is running a Conroe @ 3300 MHZ and 2GB of ram. First I will destroy that, then I will be happy :p

Hmm, about 4 times your 6200 score (+/- 1000) if memory serves
