Hi guys.

Im debating whether to get a GTX 570 Twin frozr or a 6950 and then unlocking it to a 6970.

Will doing that void my warrenty? And would a 6970 perform much better than the 570?

You have the most chance with the Sapphire Toxic 6950 if you really want to unlock, though it is a very pricey so not worth it imo. You'll achieve as much gains by overclocking as you would by flashing anyway. The 6970 and 570 are on par with each other btw, unless you are talking very high resolution, that's when the 2gb of vram will come on handy for the 6970.

What resolution does your monitor support, and what is your maximum budget?
