Afternoon chaps, I've built myself a little media pc.. by which I mean I've inherited an old dell optiplex gx620 with a decent 256mb graphics card and a dvd rw.. I'm thinking about purchasing a cheapo tv / graphics card and perhaps a bluray drive, should they come in my budget.. but at present the max resolution is 1280 * 1024 / 800.. when I send this to my 42" tv via dvi - will it look decent?

If I wanted to turn it into a HTPC - what kind of graphics card would be best? I realise by posting this in monitors, I'll get naff all responses - but any ideas would be great!

do you mean at present the max resolution is that of your current monitor or that of the graphics card? when you plug into your tv then you will need to set the resolution to 1920x1080 or 1280x720 depending on your tv's resolution.
