There is a small alleyway from our back door to our backyard.
We wish to cover this with a corrugated clear plastic roof, How Do I seal the sheets against the wall ?

It would be touching a wall on 3 sides, 1 of which would have the corrugated profile.

Do you just use flashing tape or similar ?
If so how Do I go about making a neat job as the sheeting i would use would most likely be clear to allow maximum light through.

You can buy self adhesive flashing.

Better to use 10mm or 16mm Twin wall polycarbonate, much stronger, higher impact resistant, easier to seal in my opinion.
You can get edge Glazing Bars for the polycarbonate sheet, some come with a blanking strip, or you can cut a strip from a sheet, & use sealant to secure & seal.

You can find it much cheaper, but I can't find my link.

I fitted twin wall at last place over a back porch, had a look at the old place, & it still there after 13 years.

That stuff looks fine.
Could I just use clear silicon sealant to seal it to the brickwork ?
IMO this would be a much tidier solution providing it works.
How is this stuff attached to the wood it sits on ?
Do you use the same method that you would use for
Corrugated plastic sheeting, Ie screws with rubber washers around to seal ?

Where is cheapest place to buy the twin wall stuff.
I need to measure up tonight but I reckon alleyway is perhaps a meter and a half wide and probably need a sheet 3 to 4 meters long :)
