***Hogwarts Legacy - RPG***

Hmm, I'm skeptical of that reason, I would hardly describe Hogwarts as a "broken game" not by a looooooooooooooong way.
I'd give them the benefit of the doubt here, it's been known that there is a day one patch, why would they waste their time doing all the performance testing on the base game, if the patch is supposed to bring improvements?

What we don't know is if reviewers get early access to the patch, so they could have already done the testing with the patch, but just on embargo until the game fully releases.

We'll see, dont see why Eurogamer couldnt still review it though, a whole bunch of other places have reviewed it as is.

Personally I suspect its more the case that they've just bottled it from fear of backlash from certain nutjobs but we'll see.

Bizarre - I now cannot load the game. My pc crashes either after the shaders or when I try and launch the game. It was working fine two days ago and no system changes. Going to try a re-install to see if that helps but really annoying!

Whilst the benchmarks do have value, if they're doing a perf fix day 1 that actually makes a big difference, a lot of this could be thrown out of the window.

Though I appreciate you can only work with what you have in front of you at the time.

I suppose I'm going to struggle to play this on my 3060ti then? I do have a 5600x and 32GB DDR4, but it's only 3200Mhz. I play at 1440p. Should I give this a miss?

Its run fine on 1440 Ultra on my 3060TI, so you should be fine. Having said that, I'm not someone who expects 90fps all the time in a game so it depends what your expectations are, all I can say is that on my 3060TI, 1440, Ultra (no RT on) its entirely playable

Was reading on neogaf that they won't be covering and neither will Digital Foundry. Why risk all that revenue, from one of the biggest multi-play games of the year, because of a few looney toons
