Windows update has delivered an update for this and it still has the flickering screen problem.

Slighty off-topic (mine works fine by the way [Vista Ultimate Edition]), but can anyone point to some absolute idiot proof instructions on how to play poker.

simulatorman, before the update mine did flicker now and then but the update seems to have fixed this now, although the only problem I have now is it takes a good 20 seconds for the screen to actually kick in.

Are you running an Nvidia graphics card?

Yeah, 6800GT, using the new 100.## drivers from nVidia.

Ive had trouble with the very latest nvidia drivers and my 6800gt would make games flicker and exit back to desktop again which was quite annoying so I had to go back to the 100.59 version of the drivers.

Problem still here with 101.41 beta drivers.

its weird i have a 6800GT and hold em doesnt flicker at all

Its a 8800 issue, Nvidia know about it.
