Holiday photo thread!

Wow. This thread has actually convinced me that I want to take a holiday, some of those pictures are absolutely stunning - makes the few shots I have from Sweden and Spain look positively tame!
Also, apart from some of the more obvious pictures of natural beauty, I am also somewhat in awe of Funkyt's pic of Riga for some reason. I can't quite put my finger on it but this is strangely captivating for a city street shot: http://www.funkyt.dsl.pipex.com/riga.jpg
I was going to put a shortlist of my favourite pics but there's just too many :/ A few very nice sunset's, I love the lakes with mountains behind, Antigua looks intriguing and that one of Venice is very good too. I also found some of these pics gives a better sense of scale to some of the monuments in Egypt etc than what you see in books/tv.

Earlier in the year I spent a week in NYC.
Statue of Liberty:

From the 86th floor on the Empire State Building you can just about see (blame the crappy camera) the Statue of Liberty and where th WTC used to be:

A couple of days after getting home from NYC, I went to Florida for 3 weeks.
The Magic Kingdom changed colour a lot when it got dark:
The airboat ride was great fun, even if I did end up soaked:
We got to feed the gators at Gatorland, but I wasn't expecting to be so close to them:
