The Royalist army under Byron is sieging the town of Nantwich and is relieved by the armies of Fairfax and Bretherton. There was much bloodletting, cannon fire and cavalry.

Fortunately it is just a re-enactment this year with only minor injury, cannon fire and cavalry. Repairing to the hostelry after.

Last one I did was 2020, it is a HUGE annual booze up for those involved.
