trailer looks good... but it is a film/comic made into a game and most games that are spin offs are rubbish. infact the only game that was a film first that i think was any good was JK2. I think its worth playing the demo first before u rush into buying !

It's based off the comic books / animated series not the film. Also demo is fantastic :D

What's JK2? Jedi: Outcast?

That is usually sound logic, but this hasnt been made to publicise or coincide with a movie.
 
The demo is really good, rather short, but a lot of fun, i cant wait for this game now !!!! I only played the 360 version and i saw it uses the UT3 engine, can any one confrim that they get 60 FPS in the PC version??? that would seal the deal for me to get it on the pc, i have a 4890 toxic.
 
the first Riddick game was pretty damn good, not got round to playing the second one though I believe it's not as good as the first.
 
Well **** me! I saw the trailer for this and thought "Ahhh another console port with mindless beating up thats bound to be rubbish" but was bored so downloaded the demo anyway.

One word - Preordered :D What an awsome game! Simple, yet satisfying. Can't believe how smooth they've made it all run, how good it looks and how fluid the combat is. I'm not normally a fan of this genre, but this is great fun! Well done to the game makers for making a good looking game that runs well and isnt some money making spinoff of a film that is poorly implemented :)

It was so good I bought the company (well preorderd the game anyway). It's a very short demo considering it's 2gb (apparently it's got the cut scenes in various languages).
 
I'm sure you won't regret it.

The only thing that's annoying me is the staggered release date. I've played the demo on PC, 360 & PS3, and I much preferred it on PC - but I'm not waiting an extra three weeks for it.
 
Bloody hell, I read this thread last night whilst drunk, so attempted to download the demo from UseNet, I wake up this morning and go to install it to find I have downloaded the Xbox 360 version :rolleyes:
