I have a Google Home + Chromecast but every so often I want to fallback to an interface in my hands to control volume etc...

Im struggling to fine anything that will give me on screen buttons for controlling Chromecast volume in a dashboard interface. I can use the Google Home app but its too many clicks to get to controlling the volume as an example.

Any suggestions?

doesn't this just show pause, stop and mute?

It does, but if you click on the notification it takes you to the device screen so you can control volume etc. - certainly reduces the number of 'clicks'.

Don't bother, you're wasting your time. If you are try to make your life easier, don't try to replace a remote with physical buttons with a tablet. It will not make your life easier....

Agreed. If only my Harmony had voice control for Sky Q and Prime...
