Hi guys. First post so be gentle

I am going to build my own PC, (for the first time).

These are the specs i have concluded with so far:

Motherboard: Asus M4A785TD-M Evo AMD 785G (Socket AM3) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard

CPU: AMD Phenom II X2 545 3GHz Socket AM3

RAM: Crucial 4GB DDR3 1333MHz

GFX: XFX ATI Radeon HD 4850 1024MB GDDR3 Dual DVI

Case: Akasa Genesis AK-5004 Midi Tower Case (plus an extra 120mm cooling fan)

Hard drive: Maxtor 250GB

DVD +- RW

OS: Windows 7 home premium.

My question is what wattage power supply do i need? I was looking at this PSU: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-037-OC&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=

But is it large enough? I dont know how to work out what size i need.

Any tips and suggestions for my system build are very welcome!

PSU will be more than enough

Personal choice would be to change the hard drive to one of these - Clicky

Will do, if it works, is it worth buying all the anti static matts and stuff?

Im going to be using snipe nose plyers to hold the components to reduce risk of static.

I have done all sorts to my pc when building and upgrading and never used a mat or wrist band, I do touch a rad or tap though

get the x2 550 if you can afford increase in price. I got one recently. very easy to overclock without any additional cooling or voltage.

i wouldnt bother with all the anti-static stuff personally, though i may have just been lucky.. its up to you.
