Home Cinema choices

Hi,

I have about £1000 to spend on a home cinema setup. This will be a receiver and speakers.
I'm toying with Quad 21L fronts with the Quad L centre which will be about £500. I already have some Mordaunt-Short 302's for the rear satelittes.

That leaves £500 for the receiver and a sub. I've looked at various receivers but like the Denon style so maybe a 2106 would fit the bill? That leaves £200 for a sub and the cabling.

Any other options or advice?

I'm not an expert but I would put more cash towards the amp and save up for a good sub. Might be worth reading the thread about subs further on down the page and visiting AVForums. Don't forget about cable costs as well!
