On the wagon, sorta
with cloud gaming becoming available to more and more people it seems like a intriguing concept if only for home use, web based solutions are available but is there anything for the home user?

why i ask is i have a work horse upstairs in my spare room and have a lower spec machine in my living room, is there anyway of implementing anything like this at home? or is a solution for streaming games over a personal network not available yet.

I'm not 100% clear on what you're asking.

Are you asking about storing important files in the cloud, so you can synchronise files between computers more easily? If so, it's easy - look up DropBox, Syncplicity, or *shudder* Windows Live Mesh. (There are otehrs, but those are the best free offerings I'm aware of.)

If you're asking about playing games on one computer that are stored on another, or using apps that way, if you have a fast enough network it can be done - but the apps have to be instaleld to be used that way, so you might need multiple installs of some games or programs.

ok what i mean is the main pc runs the game, the cpu and graphics card run the game and the smaller pc acts as a front end, the only thing the smaller pc does is act as a gateway for the game to the tv and an interface for the controls, all the rendering and execution is done by the main pc.

will take a look at the link cheers mate.

edit.

stream my games only support a small portion of games, im thinking its because its kinda a remote client plus you need to log into the web page to use it so kinda a inconvenience a local to the machine client
would be better but im struggling to find anything, seems ike something that would have a place aswell.
