The annual battle of the consoles that takes place every Christmas will heat up this week when Sony launches its own version of Second Life for the PlayStation 3. The new service, called PlayStation Home, will allow players to create an online “virtual life” and interact with other players in a make-believe world.

Home is never going to be finished, It's an ever evolving world. So you would get home and no doubt be disappointed with the lack of content. But that's the same with most online environments, Things get added as the world and population grows and evolves.

I like the way the disclaimer says at the beginning when you launch Home, "Over the coming months and years..."

The very biased pricing at the end of the article was .....interesting

By all means mention the cheapest Xbox - but at least compare it to the cheapest price for a PS3 which is well under the £300 mark let alone the £350 quoted :rolleyes:

Sounds a good idea but I am not sure if I will use it - I don't have enough friends with PS3s to make use of it - most of my friends are Xbox 360 owners.
